Intermediate AWS DevOps Engineer

Core skills you’ll bring AWS Cloud Platform: Solid experience managing AWS infrastructure, including VPC networking, S3/EBS storage, EKS (Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service), AWS Lambda, Amazon ECS / App Runner, and AWS IAM (Identity and Access Management). Infrastructure as Code: Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, specifically working with and maintaining Terraform modules. Microservices Ecosystem: Deep understanding of containerization and GitOps tools, including Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and ArgoCD. CI/CD Pipelines: Proven ability to understand, build, and deploy pipelines for major programming languages, with a strong preference for AWS native CI/Cd services or GitHub Actions / GitLab CI YAML pipelines. General IT & Linux: Strong foundational knowledge of Linux basics, Bash scripting, and monitoring/alerting tools (e.g., Amazon CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana). Problem Solving: A natural troubleshooting mindset with the ability to diagnose and solve complex infrastructure and deployment problems. Nice-to-have Experience with other cloud platforms (Azure or GCP). Familiarity with Cloud AI services and integration (e.g., Amazon Bedrock). Configuration management experience using Ansible. Knowledge of DevSecOps practices (integrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines). Proficiency in Python for automation and scripting. Understanding of basic software testing practices and how they integrate into deployment pipelines. People are at the core of Avenga.
