Sneak preview of your future tasks Hardware Management and Vehicle Availability (40%) Accountability for the replacement, integration, and repair of vehicle hardware, including airbags and other safety-critical components, to help ensure the availability and operational readiness of test vehicles for development, integration, and validation activities. Software and EE Updates (30%) Execution of software, firmware, and electrical/electronic updates to ensure up-to-date vehicle configurations and optimal test conditions. High-Voltage, Battery, and Dangerous Goods Management (20%) Activities as a qualified specialist for high-voltage and battery systems, including the replacement of HV components and ensuring compliance with relevant high-voltage, battery, and dangerous goods regulations. Occupational Safety, Hazardous Substances, and Compliance (10%) Performance of duties as Safety Representative and ensuring compliance with occupational safety, hazardous substances, dangerous goods, and compliance requirements within the Vehicle Lab. Role Outcome A significant contribution to ensuring high technical availability, safety, and test readiness of development vehicles while complying with all quality, safety, and compliance requirements. Your Profile Education & Experience Certified Master Automotive Technician qualification  Several years of experience in diagnostics, repair, troubleshooting, and vehicle modifications. Qualification as a high-voltage specialist and battery specialist. Proficiency in English. Technical Skills Comprehensive knowledge of modern vehicle technology, electrical and electronic systems, ECUs, and vehicle systems. Proficient use of diagnostic, analysis, measurement, and flashing tools. In-depth understanding of vehicle architectures, ECU topologies, and interactions between hardware and software components. Sound knowledge of vehicle networks and communication systems, such as CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and Ethernet. Experience working with development vehicles, prototypes, and experimental vehicles. Ability to independently analyze and resolve complex technical issues. Knowledge of relevant safety, hazardous substances, dangerous goods, and compliance requirements. Nice-to-have Knowledge Experience in providing technical guidance and training to employees. Why us?
