Sneak preview of your future tasks Independent delivery of a defined automation topic, including: Implementing and maintaining automated test cases for the assigned scope. Applying ASPICE-compliant test design and traceability practices. Integrating automated tests into the GVP framework and One Pipeline according to established architecture and processes. Creating, monitoring, and following through defect tickets related to the automation environment and software under test, escalating unresolved blockers to the responsible lead. As a member of the Maria Release team, the role independently delivers a clearly defined automation work package within Maria Platform testing for an assigned i3 MAX or i4 project context. It contributes as a project team member and coordinates topic-specific dependencies with test, engineering, domain, supplier, and GVP framework contacts. Overall project direction, cross-project prioritization, and major technical trade-offs remain with the responsible test or engineering lead. Your Profile Essential: Subject-specific university degree or comparable qualification; more than two years of relevant professional experience in software test automation or a related discipline; solid specialist knowledge sufficient to work independently within an assigned automation topic. The skill table below describes the expected practical toolset. Technical Skills Essentials:  Python, Shell scripting (bash/sh), Object-Oriented Programming, ADB and debugging tools (logcat, tombstones),RBFW, Gitlab CICD, ISTQB test engineer level, REST API.  Nice to have:  AAOS frameworks (Catbox, Spectatio).
