ABOUT US
What if your work could drive change in a globally established industry, shaping processes that touch every corner of the world? At Forto, we are at the forefront of change, harnessing the power of AI to revolutionise logistics. We want to reinvent digital supply chains to be transparent, frictionless and sustainable. From day one, our mission has been to simplify global trade – creating a seamless and efficient logistics process.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Salesforce Administrator at Forto, you will be a central point of contact for multiple departments, including our Commercial, Legal, and Product teams. Your primary focus will be to ensure our Sales Cloud platform runs efficiently and scales reliably alongside our business needs.
In this position, you will work closely with colleagues to understand their daily processes and help gather requirements for our platform roadmap. We are looking for someone who can review our current setup objectively and identify practical, sustainable improvements.
Because you will collaborate across the business, clear communication is essential. You should feel comfortable discussing system changes with non-technical stakeholders, explaining the reasoning behind different design options, and outlining how those changes will practically affect their daily work
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate across teams: Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team (Engineering, Administration, and Product) to align the Salesforce platform with our business goals.
- Bridge business and technical needs: Participate in discovery sessions to gather and validate requirements, translating them into scalable solutions that prioritize a clean user experience.
- Configure and build: Perform declarative Salesforce configuration using best practices, including Flow, permission sets, dynamic layouts, approval processes, and custom reporting.
- Manage the day-to-day: Handle core system administration, including user management, resolving support tickets, and facilitating user training.
- Ensure data integrity: Monitor and improve data quality using validation rules and automation, and perform mass data updates using ETL tools (e.g., Salesforce Data Loader, G-Connector).
- Oversee deployments and environments: Manage our sandbox environments and support the wider team with release deployments.
- Support third-party tools: Maintain and troubleshoot business application integrations, such as Slack, Outreach, and Clay.
- Document our systems: Create and maintain clear technical documentation to ensure our platform architecture remains transparent and accessible to the team.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator, ideally within a complex stakeholder environment.
- Core Certifications: You hold the baseline Salesforce Certified Administrator credential.
- Solution Design: Experience of creating best-practice declarative solutions, particularly Flows, Lightning Apps, Validation Rules, and Approval Processes.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Experience working directly with diverse stakeholder groups. You know how to build trust, ask the right questions, and manage expectations.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. You are comfortable translating technical requirements clearly for non-technical colleagues.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Advanced Certifications: Additional certifications, such as Certified Advanced Administrator or Platform App Builder are a strong plus.
- Code Familiarity: Any experience with Apex and/or related languages would be a positive.
- Integrations: Experience of using/managing integrations with third party apps such as Hubspot, Outreach, Clay, and Demodesk would be highly desirable.
Don’t fit all of our criteria? That’s okay! We know that you might be hesitant to apply if you don’t meet all our requirements, but here at Forto, we pride ourselves on embracing diverse perspectives and celebrating potential. If you are passionate about this position and the Forto values, please apply anyway. There could be a place for you in this role - or another one that’s a perfect fit!
