DESCRIPTION
Switchboard is seeking a Senior Network Engineer on behalf of our client, Open Technology Solutions (OTS). This is a full-time, direct-hire role for an experienced engineer to lead engineering and technical ownership of OTS’s enterprise F5 platform. This is a hands-on opportunity to own critical application delivery infrastructure, influence technical architecture, and help modernize a highly available, secure enterprise network environment. If you have deep F5 expertise, troubleshoot across technology boundaries, and want to own a platform rather than just work tickets on it, we want to hear from you.
ABOUT OPEN TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS
Open Technology Solutions (OTS) is a CUSO (Credit Union Service Organization) providing shared technology services to credit union partners. Built on a cooperative model, OTS delivers enterprise-grade IT infrastructure, support, and innovation to its partner organizations, allowing them to compete at a higher level while keeping costs in check. OTS operates with the values of a credit union at its core: member-focused, collaborative, and committed to long-term relationships over short-term wins.

- Support broader network engineering initiatives, including routing, switching, firewalls, connectivity, and incident response as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ years of F5 APM and LTM engineering experience is required.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, SSL/TLS, SAML, VPN, iRules, and application traffic flows.
- Demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot complex application delivery and network performance issues.
- Broad enterprise networking experience; Cisco and Palo Alto experience preferred.
- F5 certifications and financial services experience are a plus.
- A platform-ownership mindset. You own the outcome, not just the task.
