Senior Oracle DBA

Employment: Full-time Experience level: Mid-Senior Level Job Description We are looking for a Senior Oracle DBA to join a team responsible for managing and operating mission-critical database environments. If you have solid experience with Oracle platforms and are looking for a role where you can work autonomously while making a direct impact on system stability and performance, this opportunity could be for you. Key Responsibilities: Ensure the day-to-day operation of Oracle database environments, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. Manage Oracle infrastructures, performing installations, configurations, patching, and upgrades. Administer backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes using RMAN, Data Guard, and Commvault. Ensure database availability, security, and compliance, including access management and encryption mechanisms. Participate in migration, implementation, and infrastructure modernization projects. Create, maintain, and improve operational procedures and technical documentation. Drive automation, proactive monitoring, and continuous service improvement initiatives. Collaborate with internal technical teams and other IT areas to ensure platform reliability and stability. Qualifications Desired Profile Minimum 7 years of experience as an Oracle DBA . Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database 12c and 19c . Solid knowledge of Oracle Data Guard, ASM, RMAN, and Oracle Database Appliance (ODA) . Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) administration and monitoring. Experience with Commvault backup and recovery solutions . Good knowledge of Unix/Linux environments , preferably Oracle Enterprise Linux. Experience with scripting and operational task automation . Proven background managing high-availability, production-critical environments . Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server is considered a plus. Languages: English (B2 level minimum) is mandatory.
