Support concept development, sensor and system design, architecture, modeling and simulation, and hardware, software, and network integration.
Support integration of PNT products with client systems on Army platforms, including host-platform integration, test and evaluation, hardware and software validation, experimentation, and field demonstrations.
Identify and manage technical and program risks. Evaluate interoperability, sustainment, operational benefits and constraints, and DOTMLPF impacts in accordance with DoD guidance and IEEE Standard 1220 principles.
Assess improvements to existing products, applications, requirements, and materiel solutions, as well as emerging PNT and augmentation technologies, strategies, tactics, and training. Help ensure proposed solutions are achievable within program cost and schedule goals.
Attend SSRs, SRRs, SFRs, PDRs, CDRs, PRRs, FCAs, and PCAs, including pre- and post-review activities. Participate in IPTs, working groups, and engineering meetings, and recommend engineering, testing, and other improvements.
Create, review, and update engineering and acquisition documents to meet system requirements and program milestones. Provide input for staffing through PM PNT leadership and keep program briefings current.
Provide technical input to cost estimates, Statements of Objectives, Statements of Work, Performance Work Statements, performance specifications, related solicitation documents, and proposal evaluations.
Review technical data artifacts for acceptability, maintain product-to-data relationships, and manage databases supporting requirements tracking, product planning, systems engineering, and configuration management.
Coordinate with government clients, product and platform teams, vendors, and external stakeholders. Assess vendor progress and advise the Assistant Product Manager on technical issues and solutions.
