Business Development Representative - US Market

About Within Tldr on us: Series B, $91M raised, 7x growth last year. Digital Transformation gave rise to a $600B consulting Industry. AI Transformation will be 10x bigger and will be delivered through agents. We built that. Our AI discovers how work actually happens across every team and application, Structures it into a living Context Graph, and Improves it continuously. ServiceNow mapped 900+ processes in 9 days. DoorDash captured 3,800+ finance operations in 14 weeks. That's not a project. That's compounding intelligence. OpenAI, Google, DoorDash, and Stripe use Within to transform how they transform. We shipped GPT-4 document chat within 12 hours of OpenAI's API launch. We move fast, reward agency, and care deeply about our customers, our team, and our mission. At Within, you will thrive if: - Velocity: You're seeking a culture of rapid iteration and constant change that turns into lasting impact. - Agency: You're seeking a role where you can take initiative and embody ownership. - Care: You hold yourself to high standards, and enjoy close collaboration with others who care deeply and hold themselves to equally high standards. - Energy: You bring drive and optimism to everything you do. You thrive on finding creative solutions to ambiguous problem statements. Qualifications Become the first signal in Within's pipeline: turn a cold US enterprise account into a conversation our AEs can close. As a Business Development Representative for our US market, you own outbound prospecting into CEO, CIO, CFO and CAIO functions. These are the transformation executives who really matter. . You're one of the first BDRs on Within's new India-based team covering the US - real ownership over how outbound gets done here, not a seat in a script someone else already wrote. This is a high-ownership, high-growth role that will require a doer and builder mentality. This is the role we're looking for an individual with 0–2 years of relevant experience as well as: - Communication precision: strong written and verbal English, with the ability to open a cold conversation with a real insight rather than a template. - Being AI First in their approach will be critical to success in this role. - Genuine curiosity about how businesses operate - you're selling a product about how work happens, so that curiosity has to be real, not performed. - Comfort with a target-driven, activity-measured role, and the resilience to keep going through a target-driven day. - Willingness to work hours that partially overlap with US business hours. What you'll do - Identify, research, and prioritize outbound targets across your account list - the transformation and ops leaders most likely to feel the gap between how their company thinks it works and how it actually works. - Run multi-touch outreach (calls, personalized email, LinkedIn) that opens with a real insight, not a template. - Qualify outbound interest against Within's ICP, and hand off clean, well-briefed meetings to the AE team. - Keep clean, current records in the CRM - your pipeline data is what the next stage of the funnel trusts. - Work closely with AEs and marketing to sharpen what's landing and what isn't - you're closer to raw market reaction than almost anyone else at Within. Who you might be - You've done outbound prospecting or sales development before, or you're early in your career but unusually comfortable picking up the phone and talking to strangers. - You take feedback fast and adjust your pitch inside the same week, not the same quarter. - You're organized enough that nothing falls through the cracks in a CRM with hundreds of live touches. - You want a real, visible ramp - day 30/60/90 checkpoints, not a vague "let's see how it goes." What success looks like - Primary KPIs - Qualified meetings booked and accepted by the AE team (volume and quality) - Outbound activity volume against target (calls, emails, sequences) - Meeting-to-opportunity conversion rate - CRM hygiene and pipeline data accuracy BENEFITS: - Equity in addition to competitive cash compensation - 100% Employer-Paid Medical, Dental & Vision options! https://app.rippling.com/benefits/preview/4zb9x0k4q4bxr1lm - Paid Parental Leave - $500 Annual Learning Fund - $150 Monthly Wellness Fund - 401k via Betterment https://www.betterment.com/work/investments - Relocation support to San Francisco Bay Area (where applicable) - Office-related Perks: - BART or Caltrain to the office?: Contribute pre-tax funds to a Parking & Transit account, and you will never be taxed for it! - Lunchtime, Leveled Up: Enjoy curated local eats delivered to the office daily to enjoy with the team over an engaging conversation - Snack Central: Drinks and snacks for every craving - from healthy bites to Within team favorites. - Safe & Secure Bike Room: Commute in and safely store your bike.   Within is an equal opportunity employer.
