What awaits you at Mynaric Define and drive the technical vision for future innovation projects and translate it into clear roadmaps Identify, shape and acquire new advanced development projects, including funded and customer-driven programs Develop and defend technical proposals toward customers, partners, funding bodies and internal decision makers Design system architectures and make well-founded technical trade-offs across the full system Track industry trends and emerging technologies and assess what they mean for our portfolio Analyze technical challenges early and guide the team toward robust solutions Lead and grow a team of engineers with technical credibility, and create an environment where curiosity and engineering enthusiasm thrive Collaborate closely with engineering, program management, sales and executive leadership to turn ideas into delivered results What you bring with you Degree in engineering, physics or a related technical field (advanced degree is a plus) Many years of experience in advanced development, system engineering or technical program leadership, ideally in a high-technology environment Strong system design skills and a deep understanding of technical architecture, from concept to implementation Proven experience in writing and successfully defending technical proposals Technical leadership that goes beyond people management: you can discuss designs with engineers at eye level and earn their trust through expertise Experience in leading and inspiring technical teams, with a collaborative and supportive leadership style A clear view of where the industry is heading and the curiosity to keep learning A trustworthy and reliable personality with integrity, sound judgment and the ability to represent the company at the highest level Excellent communication skills in English, German is a plus What we offer you Have you always wanted to wear your favorite space outfit to work?
