Your Role
Language is your craft, and you want to rethink it with AI? As a working student, you build the language foundation our AI workflows run on: writing guides, terminology and the knowledge base behind our agents. What you build stays in the system and makes everyone's work better.
We are a small localization team working with 4 languages. We localize UI text and documentation, working closely with Engineering, Design and Technical Content. With our own AI workflows, we help Engineering and Design get their text right from the start.
You work closely with our Language Specialists and have a dedicated go-to person. In your first few weeks, we onboard you step by step. After that, you work independently on your own projects. You make suggestions, and we decide together as a team.
How You Make an Impact
You expand and refine our UX Writing Guide and our Technical Writing Guide.
You turn the rules in our guides into a format our AI workflows can use. For example, a style rule becomes a validation rule that our agent runs on new UI text.
You actively drive our terminology work and help build and maintain our concept system.
You do terminology research when the team needs to clarify a term.
You help maintain the knowledge base for our agents and shape how we test and introduce new AI-based ways of working in the team.
When needed, you build your own solutions with AI tools, such as scripts for recurring checks.
Your Profile
You are studying Specialized Translation, Terminology and Language Technology, Technical Writing, Computational Linguistics, Digital Humanities, Information Science or a related field, and you have at least one more year of studies ahead of you.
You already have some practical experience, for example from an internship or a working student job.
You speak German at native level and English very well (C1 or higher).
You know what technical communication is and have a solid understanding of localization and terminology work.
You enjoy working with AI tools and already have hands-on experience with LLMs.
You don’t mind working with a command line or running a script. You have a structured way of working and like to think in rules and systems.
Nice to have:
Experience with Python and with formats such as JSON or Markdown
Experience with Claude Code or other AI coding tools
Experience with a TMS such as Crowdin or Phrase
An interest in renewable energy or technical topics in general
Your Benefits
Flexible working mode within Germany: Hybrid, from home or in our lovely office in Cologne
Option for remote work from abroad (up to three months per year from anywhere in the EU or the USA)
20 holidays + 3 corporate holidays
